A three-hour interview with me has been published on RAAN, an online catalogue of documents on Russian contemporary art. It was recorded in autumn 2024 at Garage Studios at VDNKh. The conversation for Garage Interviews was conducted by Tonya Trubitsyna — thanks to her for her patience and precise questions. This is an extensive conversation about working with archives, family memory, artist books, and projects of recent years.
Garage Interviews is a project of the Garage Museum’s media archive: interviews with artists, art historians, and curators about artistic practices, attitudes toward art, and personal careers, covering both “star” names of the 1990s and young contemporary artists.
