My videoperformance “A Quarter of the Norm” from “The Bakal” is a part of “The Anamnesia” — an exhibition dedicated to the memory of Soviet repressions. It aims to analyze how contemporary art preserves the memory of the tragic events of the USSR era and resists oblivion in current political conditions. The project brings together works of more than 15 contemporary artists addressing this theme.
The parallel program includes an international conference with researchers from various countries, taking place at ENSA Paris-Malaquais, Institut d'études slaves, and the Sorbonne.
