At the beginning of the last month of work at Malt AIR in Maltfabrikken, Ebeltoft, Denmark, I will briefly present my research at the artist talk. It will run in a shared format — along with the second participant of the residency René Mboya (Kenya). Each of us will talk about our practice and how we have worked in Ebeltoft. My research is related to the environmental history of the Scotch broom and links the ecological, cultural and political contexts around the plant.
Moderator of the talk: Mikkel Elming, curator and director of the Museet for Glaskunst.
Malt AIR is the international artist residency program which is run in partnership with Kunsthal Aarhus, Statens Værksteder for Kunst and Maltfabrikken. The residency is supported by the Statens Kunstfond.
