Since 2022, the amount of paid artistic work that allowed me to more or less sustainably maintain the studio has steadily dwindled. In fact, my last institutional project, with a fee entirely invested in research, took place almost a year and a half ago and was not shown to the general public. For many months, I have continued my practice, immediately shelving what I have created. Throughout this time, my work has been supported by friends, colleagues, and long-time patrons of my projects, who have purchased artist books, postcards, prints, or simply contributed to the studio’s maintenance fund. According to the plan, this magical nest egg will be completely depleted in February 2027. No new paid projects are expected for a long time. Therefore, I am launching a fundraising campaign to support the studio’s maintenance for the next 12 months.
