At the Malt AIR, my research work covered not only the study of a specific topic — the environmental history of the common broom (Cytisus scoparius), — but also the search for a new authentic material for my practice (paper of my own production) and approach to use it (creating of a prototype sculpture). You can read more about the results in the Artistic research section of the website.
An essay “Peace in the Field” was also one of the outcomes of the research work in the residency. It’s published separately on this page.
