55.754630, 37.638530 are geographic coordinates of the GROUND Solyanka gallery. The point became the title of the project, signifying a space for dialogue about different ways of walking and a place from which each viewer can start their own exploration. The performative exhibition project is divided into four sections, each of which offers various types of deconstructing the walk. Improvisation, drifting, playing, communication in the works of the project are the forms of performative and research practices. The artists' works touch upon the issues of the post-industrial societies and ecology, the development and disappearance of cultural and natural landscapes, collective memory and freedom.

This exhibition will feature documentation of two performances from my Bakal project, dedicated to the exploration of the territory of the former Bakal labor camp (Chelyabinsk), which was a part of the GULAG system.
